The following interactive panoramas enable you to be immersed in the East Court of the Palace at Palenque, also known as the Court of the Captives. In this location there are portraits of ancient Maya captives flanking the staircases, shown in postures of humiliation, and being tortured. They can be used to provide insight into the denigrated Maya person. We recommend viewing them in full screen mode, so as to fully appreciate the details of the art and architecture.
